At May-Hem Fabric Ltd., we’re passionate about sewing, creativity, and providing the best service possible. As a small independent fabric shop based in the UK, we know how frustrating it can be to order something online, only to find out it’s out of stock or delayed. That’s why we do things a little differently.
What You See is What We Have
We take great care to ensure our stock levels are accurate and up to date. If a product is listed as available, it means it’s physically on our shelves, ready to be packed and sent to you. We don’t take orders for items we don’t have — no unexpected backorders or long waits.
So when you buy fabric online with us, you can be confident that it’s in stock and on its way soon.
Multi-Platform Stock
We sell through three platforms, which means occasionally an item might appear out of stock on our website when we do actually have some left — it’s just not been shifted across yet. If you spot something you’re after that’s showing as unavailable, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. There’s a good chance we can sort it out for you.
Just Being Honest
While we do our best to keep everything perfectly in sync across our selling platforms, occasionally something slips through the net — we’re only human. On rare occasions, an item might sell on another platform like eBay before we've had a chance to update the website.
If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible (within working hours, Monday to Friday) to let you know. You’ll always be offered a full refund or an alternative if available — whichever suits you best.
