A reinforced heavy-duty Size 5 continuous zipper tape with a thicker, more robust coil — ideal for projects that need extra strength without moving up to the bulk of Size 10. This style (sometimes labelled “No.7” by manufacturers) is noticeably sturdier than standard Size 5, while still remaining flexible enough for bags, cushions, pet beds and utility sewing.

The slider is the same overall size as the standard Size 5 pull, but it is thicker, heavier and more durable to match the strengthened coil.

The photos show a comparison between Size 3, Standard Size 5, Reinforced Size 5, and Size 10, so you can clearly see the difference in thickness.
